WHY PRIME

Our primary objective, from the very beginning, was to provide an alternative to Ethiopian food culture, and act as a healthy substitute for the consumers. We believe that eating should be more than just "consuming" meat, it should be a delicious and satisfying experience. We aim to provide the consumers with this experience.

Co-founder/owner of the farm is Dr. Yodit Abraham, a medical doctor who was concerned with what the quality of meat that the Ethiopian public was eating, as well as the hygienic quality of the place the meat was produced. She has overseen the production of Prime Meat in order to ensure it contains minimal ingredients with as little chemicals as possible. She spent years perfecting not only the spices that would go into the meat, but also the food that the animals eat, so that we provide the maximum amount of effort in ensuring our products are healthy and organic.

Furthermore, our product plant uses the latest German technology not only to prepare the product but also to pack it hygienically, ensuring that it is safe to consume. We use natural Ethiopian spices that are highly flavoured and delicious in order to produce meat that is not bland, but is packed with flavour and tastes wonderful. We are also affordably priced in order to appeal to all demographics, so that all can enjoy high quality meat products.

Additionally, Dr. Kassahun and Dr. Yodit, parents to two daughters, realised how rushed and stressful it is to prepare breakfast and lunch for their children, for school and home. Thus they made it one of their top priorities to make food preparation as convenient and easy as possible. They decided that the processed meat from Prime should be either cooked or semi-cooked that will require only heating. Therefore, we have taken 90% of the responsibility of preparation, families will only have to heat the food and enjoy, without having to worry about starting a meal from scratch.

Our products are convenient for all, from college students who do not have time to cook, to families that have to prepare breakfast and packed lunches for their children. Our ready prepared food makes cooking much easier and time efficient.
